How to use this map in a classroom
This interactive map was developed by Canadian Geographic and the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development to assist teachers in helping their students apply critical thinking skills and understand the concepts of international development and global responsibility.
Your students can explore global issues by themes or country and link out relevant websites with up-to-date information. With help from Canadian Geographic Education’s learning inquiries, teachers can use this map to support the development of school-based global education and enable students to get involved with international development.
